Our staff’s daily rounds and home visits are electronically monitored and managed and we make sure we have ongoing team meetings and training sessions, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Our staff are all confident in their roles and are dedicated to caring for their clients.
Our company Director, Carly Fewell, has worked in health and social care for 15 years, and holds a Level 5 NVQ in Leadership and Management for Adults Health and Social Care. She brings her expertise and her kind, caring personality to bear on the business to the benefit of staff and clients.
We provide full support and home help, regardless of your care needs, and you can rest assured that we offer a service that is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. We’re small enough to be personal, but we have a big heart!
Our carers arrive on time and on schedule, and we don’t miss visits. If a staff member has to be absent, we have a replacement to fill the breach. We never leave our clients in the lurch.
We have a strict protocol when it comes to safeguarding our clients – homes are checked for things like trip hazards on each visit. We record medicine administration electronically to prevent errors occurring and staff re-read the agreed care plan before each visit to ensure there is no confusion about exactly what support is required.
All our staff are employed subject to satisfactory reference checks, including DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks, and all are issued with personal protective equipment as appropriate.
We pay attention to the little things that mean a lot to those we care for. For example, we don’t forget how many sugars a person prefers in his/her tea! All this detail is recorded on our client’s care plans. When it comes to preparing meals, we endeavour to support our clients to choose to eat a healthy, balanced diet.
Apart from all the procedural and physical aspects of our care operation, we put great emphasis on good conduct and best practice in the realm of ensuring our clients are treated with dignity and respect. This philosophy is at the base of all our staff training and in everything we do for our clients, from seeing to their personal hygiene to administering medicines or serving meals.
Overall, the way we work is to go beyond just meeting people’s needs. We make a point of engaging with them on all levels and everything we do is with our individual clients’ best interests at heart.
