Atwell Care was founded by Carly and David Fewell in 2018 who between them have 20 years care experience in the home care sector. The aim was to administer person-centred care and support to clients in their own homes, while retaining a corps of contented, well-qualified staff who go above and beyond to ensure the well-being of our clients.
We’re proud to say that – judging by the feedback from clients and their families, increasing demand from an ever-widening area of operation, and a “Good” rating from the CQC (Care Quality Commission) – we have succeeded in our aim.
That doesn’t mean we’ll rest on our laurels. The Atwell team are constantly reviewing and upgrading our training and the dedicated service we provide to our clientele while we tend to their needs with dignity, compassion and respect.
The smooth operation of our care activities is ensured by a friendly, approachable management team who are always available to staff, clients and their families.
Registered Manager/Director, is responsible for all the care and support aspects of the business. In her spare time, you’ll find her on local walks with her dog, Stella.
Business Manager/Director, keeps the company ticking, but enjoys his time off fishing for carp and playing darts.
Supervisor, responsible for staff support, supervision and recruitment, likes nothing more than family time and socialising with friends.
At Atwell we don’t just excel at caring for our clients; we’re also committed to having a contented, happy workforce.
We know that caring is a demanding job, emotionally as well as physically, so to make sure we recruit and retain only the best of the caring profession we hold our staff in high regard, rewarding them for their loyalty and above average performance.
We pay more than the national living wage, provide ongoing training and apprenticeships, and encourage progression.
Most of our care staff have developed long-term close relationships with their charges, which are mutual. We believe this enriches our company ethos of person-centred care.
